Shkarkimi i video materialeve nga YouTube është një gjë shumë e thjeshtë falë shtojcës së Firefox e cila do t’ua ofrojë të njëjtin material në disa video formate të ndryshme.

Nëse videoja është publikuar në YouTube me rezolucion tyë lartë pas formatit 3GP, ajo do t’u ofrohet për shkarkim në rezolucionet HD e FullHD. Të dy lidhjet ofrojnë video në formatin MP4 me ç’rast i pari është në rezolucionin 1.280 x 720, gjersa i dyti në atë 1.920 x 1.080 piksela. E theksojmë se lidhjet HD e FullHD për shkarkim nuk do të shfaqen nëse videoja origjinale gjatë ngarkimit në shërbimin YouTube ka pasur rezolucion më të ulët sesa këto që përmendëm më sipër.
