Familjes se smartphone-eve Galaxy i eshte shtuar edhe nje anetare i ri me emrin Grand. Smartphone-i i ri eshte i pajisur me nje prozessor 1.2 GHz dual core, 5 inç ekran dhe kameren prej 8 megapixel, ne dispozicion ne te dyja modelet, me nje dhe dy sim-kartela.
Galaxy Grand ka nje ekran 5-inç 800 x 480 WVGA TFT LCD, 1GB RAM memorie, 8GB memorie te brendshme dhe nje bateri te madhe 2,100 mAh. Shtepiza e tij eshte 9.6mm e holle e cila vjen ne menyren edhe me te holle se 4.8 inçeshi Galaxy SIII. Perderisa Galaxy SIII dhe Note 2 jane lider ne fushen e smartphone-eve, Samsung deshiron te vazhdoje te lansoje modele te ngjajshme ne cdo madhesi.
Sic e cituam edhe me lart, Samsung do te lansoje dy modele te Galaxy Grand, duke e bere versionin me dy sim-kartela (GT-I9082) te parin dhe me pas do te vijoje ai me nje sim-kartele (GT-I9080).
