Microsoft e ka planifikuar një ngjarje në 20 maj, ku kompania pritet të zbulojë modelin e ri dhe të përfolur të tabletit Surface Mini, si dhe tabletin tjetër të bazuar në procesorin e Intel, i cili pritet të quhet Surface Pro 3.
Sipas një raporti të ri thuhet se disa nga specifikat e mundshme të Surface Pro 3 dhe çmimi i tabletit tashmë dihen.
Thashethemet sugjerojnë që Surface Pro 3 do të jetë më i madh se modelet aktuale, ndoshta me një ekran diagonalja e të cilit do të arrijë në 12-inç ose edhe më shumë se kaq, por për momentin ende nuk ka konfirmim.
Tableti i ri i Microsoft thuhet se do të vijë në pesë versione me procesorë të ndryshëm dhe kapacitet të memories, si dhe me çmime që variojnë.
Versioni i3 me 4GB RAM dhe 64GB memorie kushton 799 dollarë, ndërsa versionet e tjera janë si në vijim:
i5-4GB RAM-128GB – 999 dollarë
i5-8GB RAM-256GB – 1299 dollarë
i7-8GB RAM-256GB – 1549 dollarë
i7-8GB RAM-512GB – 1949 dollarë
Tableti do të ofrohet edhe në ngjyra të ndryshme, përkatësisht në katër ngjyra: të purpurtë, zezë, të hirtë dhe të kuqe
